Thanks for the comment, Yana! I guess if a wine label is more modern, I’m more inclined to go for it as opposed to a fancy old style label because I can identify with the simple, fresh look of the contemporary design. It’s less intimidating to me. You’re right about the font on their site, it’s very similar to Vitamin Water…which is a beverage and package design I also enjoy.

I also buy things for the packaging, though I suppose most consumers do, even if designers do it more that most. But for some reason, I have never been able to take wine in modern packaging seriously. I’m not really a connoisseur, maybe it’s just that I equate wine with 18th century French country side.
BTW their font/typography used for “chill & unwind” on their site reminds me a little too much of Vitamin Water.
